Application Requirements

Thank you for your interest in the Operating Engineers apprenticeship program. In order to submit a completed application you must provide the following documentation:

1. Fully completed application – filled out online
2. Proof of high school graduation with one of the following – diploma, transcripts or GED
   • College Transcripts or College Diploma will not be accepted
3. Valid Michigan driver’s license
4. Workkeys testing results showing both a level score AND a scale score
   • All level scores are 1 digit and scale scores are 2 digits - Both must be shown.
   • Applied Math – Level 3 or higher
   • Locating Information/ Graphic Literacy – Level 4 or higher
   • Reading for Information/ Workplace Documents – Level 4 or higher
5. DD-214 if you have ever been in the military
